Truphone was a rule-breaker in the connectivity sector, creating tech that gives freedom to people and businesses by letting them take control of their connectivity. Yet despite being creative pioneers who count Apple as one of their partners, the brand was clichéd, complex, and frankly – dull.

We flipped the story from being product features driven to human-led benefits, whilst defining and clearly articulating it's purpose and expressing its challenger position. This directly translated to a new refreshed visual identity.

Bold circular graphic devices and hand-sketched brushstrokes applied in a fresh graphic way denote global connectivity but steered clear of any clichés. A vibrant and distinctive colour palette and hero image treatment gave us an ownable edge from the competition.

By seizing the opportunity to own the story of the seismic change about to disrupt cellular connectivity, with provocative thought-leadership talks and campaign-led events, we significantly raised brand awareness and credibility on very little budget at Industry heavyweight Mobile World Congress.

With brand awareness a priority, our approach had to deliver impact and stand out from the competition. eSIM is ON, The Inconvenient Truth and The Invisible Revolution are compelling full experience campaigns we created and brought to life at MWC and beyond, taking a disruptive approach to shake up the industry and position ourselves as the challengers to watch.
